MÜZİK HACKATHON 2026 PRIVACY NOTICE

You are hereby informed that GENÇ KÜLTÜR KART, acting as data controller, will record, store, retain and reorganise your personal data within the framework of the purposes that require their processing, in a manner connected with, limited to and proportionate to those purposes, and will keep the data accurate and up to date as reported to us or by us; that your data will be shared with the institutions legally authorised to request them; and that they may be transferred or assigned to third parties in line with the conditions of lawful processing, classified, and processed in the other ways set out in the Personal Data Protection Law (hereinafter referred to as "KVKK").

The personal data listed below will be processed by GENÇ KÜLTÜR KART as data controller, in accordance with Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and within the scope set out below. Your personal data, obtained by us lawfully, may be collected in the ways and on the legal grounds set out below, within the limits laid down by the KVKK and without prejudice to your rights. YOUR RIGHTS Under Article 11 of the KVKK, provided that you apply to us in person and prove your identity, in relation to your personal data you may; \- learn whether we process personal data about you and, if we do or have done so, request information about it. \- learn the purpose for which your personal data are processed and whether they are used in line with that purpose. \- learn whether your personal data are transferred within the country or abroad, and to whom. \- request that inaccurate or incomplete personal data be corrected, and that the recipients to whom such data have been or may have been transferred be notified. \- request that your personal data be destroyed (erased, physically destroyed or anonymised) under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK. However, in view of our obligations under the relevant legislation, we will assess on the facts of each case whether your request can be carried out and, if so, which method is appropriate. In this context, you may ask us at any time why we chose the destruction method we applied. \- request that third parties to whom your personal data have been or may be transferred be informed of your destruction request. \- request compensation if you suffer damage because your personal data have been processed unlawfully.

EXPLICIT CONSENT DECLARATION

I have read the GENÇ KÜLTÜR KART MÜZİK HACKATHON PRIVACY NOTICE prepared by GENÇ KÜLTÜR KART regarding the processing of my personal data of a general and/or special category. By accepting this document, which sets out the purposes, periods and methods of processing under Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (the "Law"), I declare my consent to the processing of my personal data by the authorised employees of the data controller in accordance with the processing conditions set out in the Law.

Together with all the matters set out in the privacy notice;

• If the rules set by the organiser are not followed during the Hackathon, the organiser reserves the right to disqualify the entire team or an individual competitor.
• During the Hackathon, competitors may not leave the hackathon venue without the organiser's approval.
• During the Hackathon and in the live performance area, competitors must keep to all timings set by the organiser.
• Where images taken during the Hackathon are shared, participants accept that they will make no claim in respect of them and that they consent to these images being used on social media. They accept that the same terms apply in similar situations.
• In the event of any verbal dispute, fight or similar incident between teams, the organiser reserves the right to disqualify the teams or the competitor involved.
• Competitors are responsible for all fixtures used at the hackathon venue (items inside the building) and for any equipment handed over by the organiser.
• If a competitor places in the Hackathon, the professionally arranged recording of the work and all related content may not be shared on any social media platform without the approval of Genç Kültür Kart.
• The winning competitor must follow all instructions given by the organiser for the professional studio recording of the work they have produced.
• In the event of any accident during the Hackathon, Genç Kültür Kart will assist the competitor but will not accept liability for the accident.
• Competitors are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the privacy notice and the rules.

I declare that I have been informed by GENÇ KÜLTÜR KART that my personal data in the categories listed above may be processed for the stated purposes of processing and transfer and may be transferred to the parties indicated, and that I have read and understood the Explicit Consent Declaration document set out above regarding the processing of my personal and/or special category data; and, in line with the matters stated in the document, I GIVE MY EXPLICIT CONSENT to the processing and transfer of my personal data.
